the sudden truth

It's not like how it is in the movies. There is no comforting hand on your arm. No hushed, soothing tones. No one guiding you to a chair.

Instead it is three doctors all saying words that don't make sense. It is a crowded, public space with nurses shuffling by. It is a silent scream as you fall to the floor. 

It is your father, brain dead.
