Although I didn't move to Canada until I was almost 5, I was born a Canadian citizen. I am very proud to be Canadian. So, on this fine Canada Day, I pay a little tribute to my home country.

I'm sure we all remember when this aired on TV (again, courtesy of youtube).
FYI: just a bit of trivia. The reactions of the audience (we don't see them, but
we hear them!) were real and spontaneous. They didn't know it was being filmed.
Now this holds a special place in my heart! An absolute classic, and a
definite favourite of mine when I was a child. As always, this comes to
us via youtube.
Now, only the truly Canadian will appreciate this.
There's more things I could add, such as our national anthem, a Rex Murphy segment, or something from Bob and Doug McKenzie (I will stay clear away from Celine Dion). But I think this is good enough. Happy Birthday Canada.
love the log driver!
