The weather in Sydney has been beautiful lately. As friends in my mother-hemisphere are gearing up for Autumn, we, in the southern-hemisphere, are getting ready for spring! Tonight, however, is dark and stormy.
And what am I doing on a dark and stormy night? Looking at clutches! I own one clutch, given to me by a friend. It's a gorgeous burgundy, eel skin number with matching coin purse. Very vintage glam, and although I'm absolutely in love with it, I haven't quite worked out how to wear a clutch. I'm such a physical person, and my hands are always moving when I'm talking, I just can't figure out how to hold a clutch and schmooze as well!
Any hints and tips?
I also have a secret crush on a cream coloured clutch at my favourite local consignment store. It's beautifully elegant, and although it's not expensive enough to break the bank, I haven't bought it because I don't need it. I am unemployed, after all. And really, shouldn't I learn how to carry one clutch before purchasing another?

I'm right there with you on the SCHMOOZIN CONFUSION. if I know I'm not going to be able to stash it somewhere for the evening, I will totally chuck a clutch in favor of a bag with a strap for a night out.
ReplyDeleteI need to get a cute little clutch soon. The one above looks totally snazzy. Btw: a great tip is to hold it under your arm while talking. My friend does it all the time and it works great. Happy morning, sweetie.
