So there's something I haven't told you. The Fella and I have decided to move in together. And tonight we signed the lease on a new flat, in a different part of Sydney! We get the keys tomorrow!
To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll like the new neighbourhood much. It's not funky at all, and doesn't have much soul. It's very "posh". BUT, it's central to everything in our lives and it's in our price range and it's beautiful. So. I've got one month in my current place before I have to be out, so the move will start slowly this weekend.
Here's a couple pics of it, taken from the property site we found the flat on.

DeleteHow exciting!!! Joe and I moved in together after only 6 months of dating. We've now been together for 10 years :) We kind of have the same situation in that we moved to a nice, boring area. It's true that we crave the energy of the locations where we used to live, but it makes going out that much more fun now. We've outgrown our little apartment so we're on the hunt for something new, and we're debating on whether we should stay in the nicer area or move somewhere with a little more "life". Undecided! Anyway, congratulations to the both of you! This is a great adventure!
