100 things about me.

1. I like how my freckles show up in the summertime, and how they only go across my cheeks and nose.
2. Even if I'm not showing it, I'm shy around new people.
3. I don't drink coffee.
4. I collect mugs.
5. I'm 5'4.5". My doctor measured me. But everybody always thinks I'm taller than I am. Including my mother, who refuses to

believe that she's not 5'4" anymore.
6. I'm a night owl.
7. No matter what time I get up and out of bed, it takes me about an hour to actually wake up.
8. I love road trips.
9. I have a cat named Winston. He's the love of my life.
10. I love tea. All kinds.
11. I love to make and give gifts.
12. I laugh easily, and often.
13. I am a very deep sleeper.
14. When I love someone, I really love someone.
15. I am always cold.
16. I love firm mattresses, overstuffed couches, and cushions.
17. I used to drink red wine, but we had a falling-out. Now I drink white.
18. I love making things in the kitchen, but only when I get to share it with someone.
19. I have known my best friend for the better part of my life. It's often very love/hate, but he is, and always will be, my best friend. And yes, my best friend is a man. We've known each other since we were small small children.

20. My cousin pierced my nose in his bathroom when I was 16. I still have the piercing.
21. I love love love getting letters in the mail.
22. I once got a letter in the mail from an ex-boyfriend's mother, post-split, that was so sweet and beautiful that I still cry when I think about it.

24. I don't remember the last time I had my hair it's natural colour. So long ago that I only know approximately what it is....

36. I've had nine and a half years of speech therapy. Those who knew me growing up wouldn't recognize my voice/speech now.

82. I love my papa (my maternal grandfather). He's 91, calls me at least once a week, and I look forward to those calls more than almost anything else.

84. I yawn. A LOT. I don't know why, but it does not mean I'm tired or bored.

86. Hot coke and lemon is my cure-all remedy. I swear by it.

96. One of my favourite things to do is watch the BBC version of "Pride and Prejudice" with my cousin Janice. I enjoy it even more, now that I know someone who was in it!
