whirlwind trip to san francisco

So The Fella and I have taken a month off work and are traveling my home country of Canada.  I couldn't be more excited to take him home and introduce him to my friends, my family, and the country that I identify with!  We're going to travel all over - including rent a car from Calgary and take 5 days to drive through the Rockies and to Vancouver.

Our trip, however, started with an 11 hour stop over in San Francisco.  This was great, as neither of us had ever been there before!  One of my oldest friends lives just outside the city, so she played tour guide to us, and we had a fantastic whirlwind trip.  Photos to come, once I've downloaded them.

Now we're in my home town of Ottawa.  I'll have to blog about this B&B we're staying in in another post, as it's absolutely gorgeous!  For now, though, I have to love you and leave you.  After a quick nap (we landed today), we're meeting my closest cousin for dinner.
