80s revival

I was inspired by Amy over at pixiespace, who wrote about her top ten 80s boy crushes (a post which I found out about after I wrote about my childhood crushes).  Growing up, I loved all the 80s fashions, and I used to envy my babysitters that they were old enough to partake in them (such as safety pins through the ears, ripped jeans and permed hair...all stuff my mother wouldn't let me do at the tender age of 8).  Who am I kidding - I still love the 80s.  I've got a whole playlist on my computer of just 80s music, and I often listen to it while doing housework.

So, in honour of my favourite decade, and in no particular order, my top 10 "stuff" from the 80s....

1.  My Little Ponies.

2.  Popples.  Oh my god I used to love these.  I had a bright yellow one.

3.  Tye-dye t-shirts.  Especially the ones that changed colour.  Remember those?  I always envied people who had them.....One of my favourite t-shirts in my closet right now is an off-the-shoulder pink tye-dye.
