six words about your mother

I should probably wait until Mother's Day to post this, but that's such a long way off, and I just have to share this!  I was talking with a friend about how much I'm appreciating my mother's love and support right now, during this time of intense change.  He showed me this website where people sent in six words describing their mother, someone else's mother, or motherhood in general.  Some are funny, some are sad, all are touching. Below are some of my favourites (all taken from this same website):

Be very careful.  Bring a sweater.

Stalwart supporter and sometimes reckless ally.

Thirteen years gone, thirteen years missed.

If I'd listened, I'd stand taller.

Because she said so.  That's why.

My life began with your life.

{my mama}
