australian slang

For the most part, I can understand everybody here in Australia.  But once in a while a word or phrase slips in that I've got no idea about.  Ever heard of "She'll be apples"?  Or "rip snorter"?  How about the "tall poppy syndrome"?  No?  Me neither.  So I decided to do some investigating, and am sharing my findings!  This website is specifically for Australian Slang!
