Reading and I get along a little too well! Love historical fiction also. Have you read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series? And of course there's Philippa Gregory - I lik her earlier novels better than the most recent ones. My current favourite is Night Circus, which is beautifully and imaginatively written.
