6. The craziest thing that ever happened to me while traveling is when I was 20 and was camping in Belgium. I didn't realize Brussels had two airports, and I ended up going to the wrong one...the one that was 1.5 hours travel away from where I currently was. And I had half an hour to get there. I ended up getting there late, but because the plane was 3 hours late, I made it. Oh, and I'd just run out of money, too... .

5. My favorite travel companion is my good friend Caitlin. We met backpacking 8 years ago, in Barcelona. Ever since then, we've been very good friends, and have done some short road trips together .
