Here's a situation that a few of us were discussing last night. It's a bit confusing.
A girl was in the upstairs part of a fast food place with her boyfriend and her girl friend. The boyfriend went downstairs to get more fries, and came up saying he'd seen a friend of his downstairs who was just leaving the joint (and was alone). The boyfriend's friend vaguely knew the girlfriend but not her friend. The boyfriend had told his friend who he was upstairs with, and this friend left without going upstairs to say hello to the girlfriend. Instead he told the boyfriend to say hello for him.
Now, do you think the boyfriend's friend was being rude? Or do you think that was ok? We were having quite a debate about it last night.
