Airports are one of my favourite places. Especially the arrivals area. I love the intro to the movie "Love Actually" because it perfectly expresses my opinions.
Today, however, was a sad day at the airport. I said goodbye to my parents. The last three weeks have gone by all too quickly, but it's been an amazing time full of travel, wine and laughter.
Most importantly, my parents got to meet and get to know The Fella. As an added bonus, we spent a weekend away at his family's holiday house (a cottage that has been in his family for 4 generations), where my mother and stepfather met his father and stepmother. It was such a special time.
