fill in the blank friday

Well, it's Friday again.  That means I'm participating in fill in the blank friday.  Here we go :-)

1.   My favorite quote is  ....hmmmm, there's lots that I love, yet I can't think of any right now.  One of them, though, is "One does not make friends, one recognizes them" (Irene Dunn).

2.  A bad habit I have is  picking at my nails.

3.  The first time I felt like a "grown up" was  ....I don't remember.  How sad is that??  Probably when my ex Stephen and I moved in together.  But I've been having increasing moments of "grown up-ness" lately.  The most pleasant one was when I was at a close friend's house for a thanksgiving dinner party.  Most of us new each other back in high school, so it was pretty cool to be with each other as grownups (because high school ended 10 years ago....).

4.  Weekends are   fabulous.  They're for sleeping in and goofing off and eating all day breakfasts!

5.  When I was a child I wished my name was     the same one it is now.  To be honest, I've always liked my name.

6.  I wish      I didn't have champagne taste on a beer budget.  It would be much better to have champagne taste on a champagne budget!  Also, I wish I was traveling again.

7.  A secret I have is       that I love "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette".  Yes, it's true.
